Picked the BBQ Plate - Brisket. I requested fatty Brisket with the Apple Bourbon BBQ sauce and it was delicious. Exactly the way I hoped to receive it. The baked beans were tasty. The cornbread was somewhat between a cornbread and a biscuit with pieces of corn in it, not very sweet but still okay. The peach pie came looking a bit like what the Titanic looks like at the bottom of the ocean and could have used the offered ice cream on top (or whipped cream dollop) but had a sweet flavor with a flaky crust. The chocolate cream pie was a bit more like cocoa silk chocolate more than a milk chocolate pudding type pie so keep that in mind if you choose the chocolate cream pie but it was flavorful and decent. By far, my favorite part of the meal was my fatty brisket with the Apple Bourbon BBQ sauce. Yum. :) Service was friendly and attentive! Nice spot to stop in when hungry on the road!

It was a pleasant surprise to come in for breakfast. The menu offered several choices, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Despite the pressure from the abundant flow of customers, everything ran smoothly. The Gift Shop was a wonderful place to browse a variety of items, including the famous pies. The restaurant even offered a sugar-free pie at a reasonable price. Parking was plentiful, and the location was convenient. Overall, the experience combined great food, warm service, and thoughtful details that made the visit memorable. From the inviting atmosphere to the unique offerings in the Gift Shop, the restaurant proved to be more than just a place to eat—it was a destination worth returning to.

There's something about locally owned and operated, fresh air and organically made from scratch fresh food. This place hits on all 8 cylinders. Beautifully made food, art, memorabilia and the staff is unbelievably friendly. Dakota was great

Food was good. Water tested under 200 ok. Pricy for food and portions Service was ok. Salad was plain lettuce & unripe (hard) tomatoes and dressing. My husband liked his burger. And the fish was brand in flavor, but I liked the light breading for the Cod.

What a great place! It is a restaurant, sundry shop, and upstairs has a brand new Christmas section. We loved it. We did not eat there this time - but have before, and the meals are fantastic, the waitstaff is very friendly. It's nice to go somewhere and be able to shop a bit as well as share a great meal. Highly reccomend! They also have a pie box, where you can buy fantastic homemade pies or slices. Cute little dining area and the yard was all decorated for halloween.

The atmosphere and southwestern aesthetics, particularly the vintage bar, were great. The pies were phenomenal but the rest of the food was disappointing. My brisket was fatty and the kids’ mac and cheese was low-quality cafeteria fare. The friendly service and beautiful outdoor area made it a positive experience overall.
